Seven Samurai

PT Este é o meu segundo filme de Kurosawa, e eu acho incrível o estilo de filmes que ele faz. Kurosawa, ao contrário de maioria dos outros diretores, não tem medo absolutamente nenhum de levar o seu tempo com as coisas, quer seja a backstory de algum personagem, ou só alguma coisa que está a acontecer. Ele demora o tempo que acha que precisa, e isso encaixa perfeitamente no estilo de histórias que ele conta. Não encaixa tão bem neste filme quanto em Ikiru, mesmo estando mais evidente aqui. O filme é exatamente o que eu esperava ver de Kurosawa depois de ver Ikiru. Foram 3 horas e 20 minutos que passaram como nada, o que é positivo, já que eu pensava que ia se arrastar por muito tempo, o que definitivamente não foi o caso. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ENG This is my second Kurosawa film, and I find his filmmaking style incredible. Unlike most other directors, Kurosawa is absolutely not afraid to take his time with things, whether it's a character's backstory or just something that's happening. He takes the time he feels he needs, and this fits perfectly with the style of stories he tells. It doesn't fit as well in this film as it did in Ikiru, even though it's more evident here. The film is exactly what I expected to see from Kurosawa after watching Ikiru. Three hours and twenty minutes passed like nothing, which is positive, since I thought it would drag on for a long time, which was definitely not the case.
