BORING…YAWNING…SLOPPY…LAZY!

***"Silly Caucasian girl likes to play with Samurai swords. You may not be able to fight like a Samurai, but you can at least die like a Samurai."*** After YEARS that I sweared I needed to see these two movies, I finally did. As someone that only watched some of the most “famous” and “eye catching” scenes from socials, this movie did’t lower my expectations, but, in fact, made them even higher. I loved the whole story as it was full of suspense and sudden twists, and oh boy did I flinch during the sudden gunshots! Loved Uma Thurman acting and her iconic yellow suit and honestly…I admire her as I couldn’t even image how many months of training it took her to record the scene where she beats the 88’s. One thing that I didn’t like, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one as I reckon that Tarantino made it on purpose to let us think “Oh she’s gonna Kill Bill!” and then leave us with a happy family but…that was only the start of the end as I changed my mind as I saw how the final went. Another “superficial” thing that I honestly hated but that I can’t blame, are the many scenes with feet involved, I mean…c’mon Quentin, we know you like feet!!! Overall, this is a masterpiece and I disagree with anyone that says otherwise…if there’s any one.

Ok so, if I have to be honest…the first minutes were kind of boring (from my point of view) but, of course, it was important for the making of the story but the end? Amazing. Loved the way they studied how to use the perfect perspective so create suspense. Things that I didn’t like or, wanted to see more is the fact that the two side characters that worked for Clark (Bobby and Kat) were well…kind of useless as they didn’t have many lines and just died in the end. A small issue I found was the way they were dressed, not looking like they’re living in 1990 but in 2020. Another thing that I wanted to see more is Mary’s backstory and the relationship with her mother, is she still at psych ward or dead? Well I guess we’ll never know. In conclusion, would I recommend this movie? Well yes of course, but specifically for people that likes learning the “internet lore”.
