My favorite genre

Jag och vem då? Det här kan ha varit det sjukaste jag sätt på ett underbart bra sätt. Quentin Tarantino måste vara Midas för allt han rör är fan guld.

*blir förvirrad av en film* ger den 5 stjärnor… Är det här en bra ”det var allt en dröm” plot twist??? Första delen av filmen är så fängslande med hela mysteriet och allt men istället för att knyta ihop allt så kommer revealen där mitt i filmen. Det är som att slitas ut en dröm till en deppig verklighet som hintar till en förklaring av vad fan man såg. Jag säger hintar för jag fattade verkligen inte allt. Måste se om denna nån gång. Sjuk film

*Three scenes of dialogue that just made me more confused* ✋😐🤚  Nah but like wtf the art of this movie was incredible, the environments had such a vibe to them and brought the themes together really well. The hair was beautifully animated and the music, incredible too. All of this kinda carried the movie to give us kind of environmental storytelling cus of the lack of dialogue. It’s made pretty clear that we’re in a post apocalyptic world but what happened to it is up to interpretation. We see a line of tanks that look organic and technical at the same time with an orange color totally clashing with the bluer tones of everything else in the movie. Fishermen running like soldiers share this blue tone as they toss harpoons at shadows of enourmous fish. There’s hints to something there and maybe it has something to do with why the world is in this state that it is. Or maybe not cus they don’t really say anything about it. There’s also biblical imagery and one of the dialogue scenes contain some stuff from the Bible. This gives us more clues but it’s never clear. It more so tells us what’s not happening and leaves us wondering even more as to what actually has been going on. The end is where it becomes even more surreal with visions of what could be a dream or representation of the future. Two questions are repeated throughout the movie.- who are you?- what’s in the egg?I don’t know either anymore…
