The Batman

One of my favorite superhero movies of all time.  I love this film with all of my heart. I remember seeing this post opening weekend with a friend of mine, and hearing that opening monologue for the first time. The shots of Gotham during the daytime with the rain blew me away, I remember looking to my friend and telling him, “this is straight out of the Arkham games”.  The cinematography in this is truly incredible, probably one of my favorite looking comic book movies ever made as well, if not my actual favorite. Probably neck and neck with Spider-Man 2. Batman being a detective is the most important aspect of his character in my opinion, and seeing this being the full focal point of the movie made it everything to me.  A superhero movie, but don’t make it your typical one, make it a well acted murder mystery that keeps you on your toes wondering what piece of the puzzle will come next. This is also probably the quickest three hour movie I have ever sat through, after this being like my fourth watch I still sit through it with no problem.
