The Penguin

Watching this changed my life. Colin Farrell’s portrayal of one of the iconic Batman villains ‘The Penguin’ is one not to overlook! His work is evident, giving a raw, veritable and abrasive performance. Creating a character who is genuinely coward-like, conniving and insincere in his habitual ways. Farrell’s ability to demonstrate these habits in a character shows how much work he has undertaken in the preparation of this role and into understanding the characters sick and sinister way of life. There is no doubt about it that Colin Farrell carried this series, alongside a very admirable performance from Cristin Milioti who portrayed a great Sofia Falcone. This series relies extremely heavily upon the ability of the acting and it did not disappoint whatsoever, the success in the acting makes the series gritty and appealing - even to those who do not necessarily enjoy the DC Universe.
