Fear
Oh. My. God.
When I tell you that this movie has been HAUNTING me since 2005 I am not kidding.
I have had such a vivid memory of the doggy door scene (IYKYK) stuck in my head for the last 19 years. No matter who I asked, what variation of “dog head through dog door” I googled, I could never find this movie.
This scene has played in my head every night that I have struggled to sleep since that fateful night when I was 5 years old and my parents thought it would be funny to let me watch this with them (don’t question this I’m pretty sure they sent me to bed right as they realised the movie was not for kids but I secretly watched it from the hallway anyway) and I have never been able to find it since.
UNTIL. TODAY. the scene swooped through my brain again like the menace it has been, and I thought, hey! Why not give google one last try now that it has this fancy AI google search that knows everything. So here I am. Typing in “German shepherd head through door” and alas.
I found it. And here I am, sat with my mother and this movie once again, feeling like a hole in my childhood has been filled. Fuck you Marky Mark.
5 stars for finally finding this movie after 19 years of pain and suffering.
