Fast Five
Fast Five is my favorite movie of all time, and a lot of my love for movies starts right here. It was my first movie in the Fast & Furious franchise and the first DVD I owned that had behind the scenes footage. I would watch the movie, then watch how they made it, over and over again. That’s what made me fall in love with camera work. Seeing the work behind the scenes gave me a whole new appreciation for what I was watching. Looking back, those DVD extras meant just as much to me as the movie did.
And the heist speaks for itself, bruh. I know what’s about to happen and I’m still in awe every time Somehow it always feels like that first watch. The comedy too the older Fast & Furious movies really had me weak, and spending time with these characters never gets old. Watching Fast Five brings back that feeling of being curious about every shot and wanting to see how they pulled it off. This movie is part of why I love film the way I do, and no matter how many movies I see, that connection will always mean something to me.
