Space Jam

Space Jam (1996) — ★★★½ A fun, nostalgic nostalgia trip that’s much more entertaining than it has any right to be. Space Jam delivers exactly what you’d expect: Looney Tunes chaos, Michael Jordan’s effortless cool, and a generous dose of 90s NBA energy. The animation holds up surprisingly well, and the basketball sequences are genuinely exciting. It’s silly, uneven, and often ridiculous, but it’s also charming in its own ridiculous way. Not a great movie by any stretch, but a very enjoyable one if you’re in the right mood. Solid 3.5 stars.
