Whyre people saying rochester is the villain when theres mrs. reed? Jane's own aunt who hated her to the point that mrs. reed lied and said jane was dead when another relative wanted to raise and take care of jane wholeheartedly, the woman who abused jane? Left her in poverty? Loathed jane (who insanely kind and forgave her anyway) to her dying breath? This is who we're ignoring in favor of a man who kept both a wife who was a danger to everyone in the household, and an illegitimate child who he doesnt even believes is his? Well hes no angel, but if ure going to condemn him, condemn him for what he actually does... AND OH MY GOD THE CHEMISTRY, im so sick
