Eraserhead

A beautiful dark twisted fanstasy, you don’t get much better than a debut film like this, at first glance it’s a fucked up film with messed up scene to messed to scene, but at its core it’s much more than that; it’s about the fear of contraception, unplanned pregnancies, pregnancies gone wrong (all fears everyone has faced or will face) and after the birth of a child who’s been born with problems and the constant thought of “am I good enough for this child, will I be able to keep it alive, what am I meant to do?” There’s more I’m sure I’ll on repeat watched 9.8/10
