Costello has the patience of a saint with these people. The Heptapods are so chill.
Humane depiction in how unorganized we are as a whole, refusing to work together, and would just rather stay paranoid. The way the movie explores that emotional dilemma with Louise’s foresight was incredible. Not much said but all loud and understood.
After letting this sit more, this is the most emotionally compelling sci-fi movie I’ve ever seen. Denis made such a masterpiece.
