Ethos
So...I definitely disagree with some of the Hodja views, but why the hell did his daughter leave him after he lost his wife, and why did she end up even confronting this poor old man with taking off her headscarf. It is of course their right and everyone should decide for themselves how to live out their religion, etc. And I even think it's a good decision. Even so, it is very bad timing, with a clearly very religious and conservative old man who not only recently lost his wife but is now losing his daughter, who all of a sudden begins to rebel against her father's views when she finally leaves home . He has a lot to swallow anyway because he has no one else in his life, but to push that into the open wound at the very end is very ruthless.
But all in all it's a nice and short series that not only brought me closer to Ferdi Özbeğen but also from time to time to question myself and my social environment.
