i have been waiting for this movie for months and it did not disappoint it was unbearable in the best way, hitting so deep that i didn’t realise how much i was crying until the credits started and i heard all of my friends crying LMAO jessie buckley and paul mescal were both phenomenal and they handled these roles with such care that it felt real and lived in. chloé zhao directed it with so much love, its intimate without being sentimental: she just lets it speak, and when you pair that with max ritcher’s score??? MASCARA EVERYWHERE. i’ve said once and i’ll say it again i need a bottle of vodka and five hundred cigarettes.  >
