Beau Travail

don’t think i ever rated or reviewed this film and i have no idea why denis depicts the human experience like no other filmmaker i’ve ever seen i saw a review of this once that says something a long the lines of “you keep waiting for something to happen and then you realize it’s been happening the whole time” and i think about that every day because it is so painfully but beautifully true will rewatch until the end of time
