Babette's Feast

I felt so close to Avo (my grandmother) while watching this, one of her favorite movies. Why it’s one of her favorites is immediately apparent, from the first scene the story and Chekhov like characters the photography especially the lighting drags you in. Each section transitions perfectly into the next sometimes aided by a welcome narrator.
