Loki

MCU #24 of 51 It’s a very Loki thing to fall in love with himself, very narcissistic. Even on rewatch, the intrigue is there in season 1. However I think season 2 is messier, especially episodes 1-4, but 5 picks it up again. The finale is such a beautiful and epic conclusion. Possibly one of the best written parts of the MCU. Visually beautiful, highlights would be the Lamentis-1 apocalyptic event, the Citadel at the end of time, and THAT scene with Loki. The style of the TVA is very cool as well, retro yet futuristic. And that damn score is sooooo good. It has well written characters that you care about. Just great seeing Loki go from wanting glorious purpose for himself to wanting his glorious purpose for everyone else. Jonathan Majors is perfect in both roles, such a shame what happened. He Who Remains is such a cool concept. Owen Wilson as Mobius, what a well written and acted character. “I might just wait here for a little bit. Let time pass.” Overall the whole show is such a fun and emotional ride. So close to being a 5.
