Oldboy

Not what I was expecting at all, this is brilliant, actually brilliant. Genuinely thought it was an action film as all I’d seen is bits of the hallway fight throughout the years. Was pleasantly surprised by a really good, funny, stylistic, dark, mystery film with a twist that changes everything. The hallway fight is great, a one shot tracking shot down a hallway, it feels so real, you can feel all the hits, and the end of it is hilarious. and that twist, I did not, at all, see that coming, one of the biggest surprises I’ve seen in a film. It’s violent, weird, emotional, and hilarious. A new favourite of mine.
