WandaVision

MCU #25 of 51 Gotta say that Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are definitely putting in their best MCU work in this. Really good acting. I remember it being intriguing first time round and different, but not a great rewatch tbh, the intrigue isn’t perfect second time around. Really struggled to get through this again. And my god, it goes on for too long. All that build up and it ends in 2 visions kinda just floating about hitting each other, and Wanda and Agatha just chucking red and purple at each other. Very American, with the way it’s very explicitly about American sitcoms. Feels like you need to have an appreciation for those types of shows, unfortunately, I don’t.  Everything outside Westview is interesting, spends too much time inside. Monica is a really interesting character, and she’s not in it enough.  Overall it’s made well and acted well, just doesn’t fully grip me.
