Toxic Movie Review: WHAT IN THE HELL WAS THIS KGF ON STEROIDS WITH COLOURS 🫩 Yash, It's Done bro 🥀 you wasted your 4 precious Years after KGF success on this script which I understand must have been so intriguing and something different on paper but but but why it's Nothin but just the same thing you did in KGF movies.... Toxic starts promising with a great hook which makes you look out for the movie but the gangster drama is so fucked up next because of the fuck all editing pattern, it was so KGF coded like blank screen and zoop zoop cuts, what were they even thinking while having bgm for every fucking scene? You want to make give thrill give it by having some chill moments without any background score, even during actions most of the part is just score going in background and the fast fast editing making the intensity wash away. The Action was fucking great though i liked it alot specially the circus fight, the Ladies and Ladies fight and the climax hand to hand fight that had no background music btw just raw punches and raw intensity. Yash and Kiara storyline was good and watchable in the first half but the fuck all editing was never helping to let us breath for a second even with a 3 hr 14 minutes runtime. 2nd half was idk wtf that was like the movie was looking for no actual ending, it was just as if the movie wanted to point some marks to approach the climax and be done with it. I am not saying i didn't have any fun, I had alot of fun because of Yash's presence and some good technicalities. The thing is it's just your one more KGF style character for Yash as he is making same massy dialogues in every 2 minutes, it's like more than half of Yash's script was one liners about Aura farming. Movie has some great Cinematography and Visuals alongside a workable music and story was also good but the writing is a very big problem because wdym the movie had tons of other characters and no one could shine??? Talking about Actors Yash was phenomenal but you could not just carry a movie which needs so much work with the other characters. Kiara was so good man she was killing it, she gave her soul literally to this movie and her performance was really good, she really upgraded as an Actor. Huma Qureshi was also good she did her part well but Nayanthara had Nothin to do, her character was just stone face type and she couldn't make me feel her presence enough, Rukmini is there for God knows what reason and Tara was also ok ok. Btw I liked the ending and Yeahh it was unexpected and all, that scene was done brilliantly, although i know where it was taken from but i can't tell you the name because I SHOULDN'T 😹 Overall Toxic is just Yash Aura Farming x Max level with style over substance and no actual power in the script, some theatre worthy sequences but failed try at making something game changing for Indian Cinema.
