Beautifully haunting and terrifying. Bill Skarsgård transforms into the role of count orlock with one of his most iconic performances yet, challenging pennywise. The cinematography is stunning and plays with the fear of the dark/unknown. The use of practical effects adds a layer of almost body horror to this classic story. Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu cements itself in horror as a worthy retelling of the classic 1922 film.
