- Such an exhilarating watch. I love how much style this has. The way there’s no music except for this creepy ass whistle. The camera work that’s impressive over 90 years later. Shit the transitions too. That fucking back and forth about colors reminded me of films from several decades in the future.- Dude. The performances were at times funny (specifically when that pipe plopped out the inspectors mouth) but most of the time haunting (beckert’s speech and that gutting ending come to mind)- My body felt wired and tense for the entire runtime. At times I forgot to breathe. I had this weird conflicting feeling where I couldn’t wait for it to end so I could see the conclusion but also didn’t want it to because I was just so utterly impressed by every technical aspect of this film. Jesus Christ. P.S. I love how we'll never know the verdict
