Anora
These story in Anora wasn't sophisticated, a prostitute searching for a way out by chasing a man with money, but the way it portrayed and the performances from everyone in the movie were amazing. The movie was consistently funny in a way that felt effortless, although Anora herself was a bit of a crass and annoying character you still wanted her to have that happiness that she found, whether it was real or just a rouse. As the movie progresses and Vanya's goons and parents get introduced it again adds to the movie in a meaningful way, Igor and Toros really shine in the second half of the movie. The end makes you realize how broken of a woman Anora really is, through money she sought to heal some clearly deep wounds, potential feelings inadequacy, shame, regret etc all spill out onto an unsuspecting Igor, who again earned the love of the audience with his reaction. A great movie that I think anyone should watch.
