Interstellar
One of best journeys you can take watching a movie. Rewatching the movie in Imax really elevated the experience as the sound effects and score of the film could really take hold. The way they delve (lightly) in the the science of relativity is great, and it really makes you contemplate the life we live and how sheltered we are from the greater realities of the universe.
The story itself is good and the actors all preform admirably, thoroughly enjoyed the second watch and the movie still holds up exceptionally well. The dialogue felt a bit clunky at times though and the excessive use of close up shots and jump cuts kind of irked me but I still love the movie.
The story of the dying earth, the father left alone to raise his kids while fighting against climate change and the suppression of knowledge. The space exploration, the different worlds, the crew relationships with Anne Hathaway and TARS and CASE, Romi getting the short end of the stick repeatedly. The betrayal of Dr Mann. The time spent in the 5th dimension. All great, all reasons this will forever remain an all time classic.
