Snatch
Snatch is a timeless classic, such a good time the whole way through with an exceptional cast who are all used extraordinarily well. Makes you a bit sad that Jason Statham has largely been reduced to playing a one note badass in all of his later films when he's got solid comedic timing just going largely to waste. In addition to him Benecio shines in his minor role, and then of course there's Brad Pitt, the man has a whole arsenal of hit movies but his character in snatch has to be up there with Achilles and Tyler Durder on Pitts podium.
I love everything about this movie, the absurdity of the situations, how seamlessly disjointed actions seem to mesh together, the delivery of the jokes and even the tension built during the few high stakes moments throughout.
Even though the movie is largely comedic, it has heart, it creates loveable characters even with screen time being split fairly heavily between the differing story lines. I could watch this movie weekly and not tire of it, it's that good, and for anyone who hasn't seen it you're doing yourself a disservice by not watching it immediately.
