Station Eleven

After reading the book and loving that I never expected to love the series just as much but for very different reasons. The book is so sharp and tightly written. It’s snappy and moves at a rapid pace. It weaves back and forth between stories and culminates very well.  The show was absolutely gutting and devastating. It does everything the book does and more. It strips away any grandiose nature in the characters and grounds them. It really feels lived in and relatable. I’m still trying to collect my insides off the floor after the last episode. Incredible stuff.
