Hereditary

the film that is the biggest “what the fuck” hereditary had been rotting away in my never-ending watchlist for far too long, and it was so worth all of the anticipation i had for it. it might not have as much jumpscares as your stereotypical horror movie, but when they do occur they make up for the whole movie, and not to mention the jumpscares weren’t even the scariest essence of the movie, just the plot itself is genuinely horrifying, definitely disturbed. the acting (ESPECIALLY toni collette) was phenomenal and so raw and realistic, i live for it. the reason why i emphasise on toni collette and her performance is because i think the effort she put into this movie was oscar worthy (but you know the oscars and their pettiness, they don’t acknowledge horror 🥴), and her beautiful performance made this already perfect film 100x better, she can play a crazy/lowk not crazy cus she was correct lady so well ! i definitely recommend this please watch this it is so good i luv it 🥹
