martin scorsese is up there for sure with all time directors and him and de niro put on a show in this movie. tbh i was bored out of my mind for this first chunk, but the end was so worth it i don’t even care. i didn’t realize going into this the whole movie was black and white but it didn’t take anything away from it, just wasn’t ready for it seeing as the movie is from the 80s. overall really really cool movie, and i’m starting to get into boxing/fighting movie mood so expect more of those

entertaining, kurt russel’s in of it so that’s a plus. the scebe where they have the concert in the jail was pretty cool, but this movie is obviously not meant to be the best movie i’ve ever seen.

entertaining for sure, i loved the setting and the costume designing. the scenes at the “old house” before they moved to the cabin were so good looking, but imo the best looking scene was the duel scene, when you look out at the snow and the two men walking apart from eachother. the story was really interesting, and i liked how it switched back and forth between the two daughters. overall, one of my favorites of the year even tho it’s probably not the best

i’m so sorry guys i can’t stop watching it. i was doing my anatomy work and turned it on but i got too invested and just watched the whole thing again. it’s literally my perfect movie i can’t get enough of it. shoutout mrs murray for the extension because “my chromebook won’t work”. we had bigger and better things to do
