Mostly for a track record of what hong-kong/chinese/Taiwanese/ heck any asian movies in general, that i have watched. Mostly kung-fu or wuxia that's mostly adapted from novels and such, but i watch anything really, depends on what I'm currently into. Very much an anti fan of gore in movies though Review is filled with broken English though so be aware

A follow up to The Flying Guillotine. Biggest complain for me is that there is too much naked scene so had to decrease it a little bit, definitely not a movie that i'd recommend if you wanna watch this with other people or something unless they are cool with naked scenes. The plot is nothing special, someone that i love got killed yadda yaddda must take revenge yadda yadda and boom! I avenged my fallen ones! Though the action is top notch! Since the movie is not about the flying guillotine there is more hard hitting action than in that movie! I don't hate The Flying Guillotine, but the fight scene is literally like people throwing grenades to each other and that's it. The finale in here reminds me of Magnificent ruffians albeit shorter, dual sword and a long blade vs a pole that could turn into a 3 section staff the only difference is that it is the protagonist who used the long blade unlike in Ruffians.

Good! Wow the story is bloody awesome and the action despite being released in 1971 is actually good to watch!

Usurpers is a BIG "could've been better" had they put more time in it in the story. Holy shit that ending is just hard to swallow, I was fucking speechless when it happens damn! I agree with the other reviewers though, the ending would've hit HARDER had they actually put more time to these characters as they just appear and then disappear quickly until they're dead or become an idiot. The camera work that's in here is eerily similar to Ching siu tung's style albeit easier to watch too! And i loved it! The stylisation is honestly top notch! It's balanced! God i love the set and the weapons too! It's too bad that the movie is hampered with uninteresting character and a really short timespan.

Movie so obscure there's only like 2 people who rated it and none who reviewed it. Well i guess I'll be the first then. This movie is shit, well shit if you're not used with the jackieploitation stuff, if you are used then the movie is average if not boring. The movie were pretty much aware of it being a drunken master clone that they actually put a direct reference to it at the beginning. The plot of this movie is quite confusing. It started as a horror then in the middle of it an unfunny comedy, then suddenly at the end things get dark real quick. Because of this I honestly don't even know what the hell was i even watching really, as the plot moved really slow until the serious stuff and main plot started to kick off. There are some major plot holes too where out of nowhere the "ghost" who were killing the people in the village managed to find Ah Chung out of nowhere after his bandits destroyed the whole clan and throwing him from a cliff, thing is Ah Chung never even leave the the sect's base so what in the world is going on here? Anyway the main thing in this shitty movie is obviously the action and this one is idk alright i guess but could've been done better. Now apparently this movie is the only one where it credits Meng Yuen Man as the choreographer. I think this might be his only choreography during his short career, it might sound biased as he's my favourite actor, but i think he got the potential of making a good choreography, since i actually enjoyed the part where they fight with weapons and combined it with his acrobatics shit just makes it better too Still this movie is a slog, a big one that is. Type of movie I'll watch if i was waiting in a hospital or someone who's a completionist.
