Atonement

so how long have i loved you for? womb to tomb sweetheart. before i was even here at all.  double bill of lalaland and atonement today has indeed led to nothing but overwhelming grief and misery.  as an amateur lover of war films atonement definitely ranks as my favourite one right now the colours the haziness the sunlight shifting through the trees and that one shot of robbie standing in the field looking at the letters has been my lock screen since 2018 and it’s been every bit as beautiful as i’ve imagined
