Hamnet
I love how I genuinely didn't realize it was Shakespeare himself until spoken clearly lol. There's definitely some unclear pacing and direction of the story, but I put that equally at my fault and the film's. I was pretty bored halfway through and found myself wanting more from the film. Grief as a portrayal was amazing, but grief as an emotion has never been something I handle or empathize with, as I find I've handled instances of it in my own life pretty uniquely. Because of that, I think I find a sort of disconnect with dramas such as these at times, and that's okay.
—I got chills at the ending scene, and all the performances are, you guessed it... top tier.
