Adolescence

this show was brilliantly written and beautifully acted. i was cautious when i initially turned it on because of this edgy teenage boy trope the media loves to use to push some message. this show actually had something to say and i think is the start of an excellent dialogue to this next generation growing up on a very polarized version of the internet. the fact that this boy has never acted before blew my mind. the entire psychologist episode was gripping uncomfortable and tense. i’m reluctant to give it 5 stars because i feel the last episode missed the mark a bit. they had to many loose ends and questions still lingering after the credits rolled.
