La Haine

For a film that was just three guys hanging around waiting for news on their hospitalised friend, I’m still in awe as to how this was so poignant. The themes are still relevant in certain societies today, 30 years later. Which for a film that’s title is literally translated to “Hate” or “Hatred”, it is rather shocking and saddening.
