Materialists

The trailer was better. Tightly edited, characters with apparent intrigue and chemistry. The film was someone's idea of what makes a film good. With a script that peacocks with on the nose 'pick me' dialogue, three well known stars banking on the filmmakers previous work, weird direction and stranger editing - all slapped together. None of the characters are likeable or that interesting. Shows that even if the elements are there, a work needs soul to make it work. This has none.
