Howl's Moving Castle

Yeah when I was 7 I didn’t really like this movie. Another key example of children being stupid. I really forgot the sense of wonder one experiences when watching a Miyazaki. I plan to binge all of them. Sophie changing her appearance based on her mood is fantastic. It’s a great detail that by the end, she doesn’t care that she’s old. Even the villains in this movie were just pleasant and charming. Aside from the ones that you don’t see on the cameras, controlling the ships to bomb on the homes of the lives we’ve yet to see on display. Horrifying backdrop for such a pleasant movie. Makes me think that it was purposefully set that way to show the parallel with how people use movies as an outlet from the trouble in their lives.
