y’all done pissed me off… with all the hate and vitriol the remake’s been getting, I assumed that this, though long, would be better.  BUT, clearly, I was mistaken!  this is some long, fuck ass bullshit, and with 71 minutes more to expand I felt I learned even less about the relevant characters.. what did we spend aaaaall that extra time on u might ask? well, some random and honestly irrelevant characters that had nothing to do with the plot in the end. did we neeeed to know all this? not even a little bit…. I was so fucking bored and just waiting for something to happen.  I didn’t care for the main character because he had no sauce, miss susan had exactly 0 agency, and the kid was just there.  what I thought we we’re gonna spend that time on was building out the rest of the characters, but when it comes to the priest for example, we got even less screen time to get to know him than in the remake!! I’m so disappointed and I can’t believe y’all dragged the remake like that when this is the point of comparison?? remake for the win!!✊🏼 y’all can fight me
