Uzumaki
As a person who owns the original comic book and has red it years ago, and as a person who oftenly goes back to it to see the beautifully disturbing artworks again, I have to say this was exactly what I expected it to be (and a little worse cause the animation felt so cheap). Not in good way though. This book has extraordinary ideas which I love and admire but I think that the series could and should have taken it a step further because I truly believe there are much more to offer from this amazingly made manga. Despite all these, it has some very well made scenes, and I believe that every person who loves and adores disturbing things should watch or read this.
Also I don’t really agree with the idea of keeping it in black and white, since I believe this series would have to offer a very unique variety of colors. I believe that they should make a live action adaptation of the comic book, with a director who knows what he’s doing, and if they ever do so I think they will have a classic on their hands. But for now let’s just say that it’s a very very special story which is yet to be said as it deserves to.
