Amélie

Amélie is an utterly delightful cinematic treat, an effervescent spectacle adorned with stunning Parisian aesthetics. Not only a visual masterpiece, but a wondrous feel-good film that comforts me in ways that are hard to explain. But what I'm most certain of is that the film wouldn’t be as heartwarming without Audrey Tautou’s well-executed lead performance, which absolutely enamored me from the start.
