Never read a bad thing about this film, and after seeing it, I can completely understand why. Possession is an exemplary film of the art house body horror. Without jumpscares, it rewards patient viewers with its commendable lead performances, particularly Adjani’s standout portrayal of raw, feminine rage. This one truly stands out as an eccentric gem among countless body horror films and I appreciate it as it ensures that such distinctive movies continue to be made and shown.
