Solaris

Of all the Tarkovsky films I’ve seen, Solaris did not bore me at all and is my favorite yet. The exceptional use of cinematography by the solitary atmosphere and stark visuals doesn’t merely serve the narrative but shapes the very emotional texture of the film. This, in turn, creates something that feels deeply personal, challenging our understanding of reality. Solid 5/5 for its ability to be both intellectually stimulating and emotionally captivating.
