The Substance

I really need to watch new movies more cause this was such a breathtaking masterpiece. It contains everything you’d expect from French filmmakers and more, following in the footsteps of many notable body horrors by delivering a lurid, perverse arthouse shocker that excels in both its graphic novelty and execution. A masterclass deserving of 5 stars, no other horror are doing it like this.
