Shit. I didn’t expect this movie to hit me this hard. Some of the best times of my life were as a teen getting to just be a dumb skater kid and hanging out with all my dumb skater kid friends. Filming each other trying (and usually failing) to land tricks, spending the whole day at skateparks hoping to meet a pro, running from security. This movie perfectly encapsulates that time of my life and hit me like a nostalgic punch to the gut.  I didn’t think i would ever cry watching two kids skate, but i did. Jonah Hill, you magnificent bastard.
