Blade Runner

Viewed in the context of our world, a fleeting moment of existence is all we have, but that moment, to us, is quite literally everything.  Blade Runner is so thematically rich and beautiful but it is also truly just a perfect accomplishment of filmmaking. An exploration into humanity, love, identity, and emotion. Philosophically profound. Wildly entertaining and seducing. An incredible score. Beautifully atmospheric and intoxicating. This is truly one of the sci-fi films of all time.  Rutger Hauer gives the performance of a century. The sequence of him chasing Harrison Ford while in his underwear was just so awesome. This was such an awesome surprise for me and I am so glad I watched it.
