Moonlight
A fucking beautiful film. The colors in this film were amazing. The music is amazing. Cinematography is amazing. Overall, it’s technically just a great film.
The story itself is perhaps even better, full of raw emotion that is impressively portrayed by all actors involved in this film. Chiron’s struggle with his own identity and the external struggles he faced wove together to make a devastating character arc.
The ending was beautiful and heart breaking at the same time. It seemed abrupt, but the more I think about it, the more I think it was perfect timing and that it tied the film together perfectly. Such a moving film, and after a single watch, I already love it.
