Sing Sing

An incredibly moving and powerful film about the power of theater and the freedom to express yourself. It really makes you question the seemingly broken system that we are so used to living with in our society. I think this is one I’m going to be thinking about for a while.  Also, I now realize just how snubbed this was in the awards season. Clarence Maclin and Coleman Domingo with two of the best performances of 2024 for sure, just so skilled at depicting the emotional depth and the internal conflicts of their characters. Can’t believe this didn’t get more recognition.
