> *“and we are so important to some, but others, we are just…passing through.”* i’m not okay. watching this entire trilogy in one day is not for the weak. the entire time they were fighting i was just wishing i could go back a few hours in my life to when they were in the listening booth together, stealing glances at one another. all in all, what a brilliant piece of cinema that i will cherish for years to come. thank you celine and jesse.

> *“i’m only really happy when im on my own. even being alone, it’s better than sitting next to a lover and feeling lonely.”* i hope that one day i can come back to this extraordinary movie in ten or twenty years and maybe then i will fully understand it. until then, i will enjoy its music and its content, hoping and praying that when i find this love in my life i wont let go and not hold as much guilt as they do.

> *“you know i believe if there is any kind of god, it wouldn’t be in any of us. not you or me. but just this little space in between.” * in the past, movies that have lots of action or a crazy plot is the only thing that can keep me hooked. the only thing. so i never would’ve thought that a movie about two people who just explore vienna and talk the entire time would be one of the best movies ive ever seen. something i truly enjoyed about this movie is that it got me thinking of all of the what-ifs in my life. y’know, what if i never went to school the day i met my best friend. and also kind of the depressing and morbid what ifs. what if i left my house just a minute sooner and i was in direct line of an extreme car accident. i love how calm this movie felt. it wasn’t trying to hard, not throwing stuff in our faces. i felt like i was there, and that’s how i know this movie will stick with me for a long time.

> *“our own little octagon!”* > ”*what? who taught you shapes?”* *he’s beating the shit out of someone* me: aw he’s so cute! no but on a serious note when can i become mrs.gyllenhaal and we live in a cute little house on the beach? WHEN.
