Midnight Mass

Awesome show!! Hamish Linklater you are incredible I love you. His performance in this show is insane, it’s so layered and depressing, he delivers it in a slightly monotone way but has these brutal bursts of emotion it’s so great.  However I’ve seen a lot of complaints about monologues. And I agree there is an abundance of profound and long drawn out speaking segments. But I think it makes complete sense for a show about faith, god, sin and miracles would have these long stretches of people just talking and grasping the gravity of the situation.  Also a spectacular ending. I love how it depicts the idea of faith and devotion it’s so interesting. It shows every aspect and notion of devotion. I also have to give insane praise to Samantha Sloyan as Beth Keane, just an evil character you really hate her by the end of it, amazing performance. I really loved this to be honest, an insanely good horror show full of fantastic performances, probably my favourite by Flanagan.
