The Penguin

Absolute masterclass in character development especially for such an interesting character such as the Penguin. Farrell never misses and is completely absorbed into the role. You never want Oz to win but like other great shows with twisted evil protagonists you’re still kinda rooting for him even though he’s a fucked up horrible monster.  Cristin Milioti brings so much fire to her role as Sofía Falcone/Gigante she’s so perfectly hilarious and twisted  in the role and I’m so so happy that she’s getting all the praises and even though awards don’t matter I hope she gets many of them as it’s well deserved.  I also love how it’s more than a comic book show. It’s a crime show but it still has that comic book eccentricities in its DNA. Which is expected as it’s a HBO show. I also like how they go full in on Oz being the villain and he is the monster.  But yeah I’m so excited for The Batman part 2 it’s going to be excited and I’m so intrigued to where they take the universe next and especially The Penguins character (i have a feeling he’s going to go the political  route)
