Some cool visuals and a great score, but boring plot and not a great ending. I was actually feeling this story in the first half and thought some interesting things were set up, but I just found the team’s journey through the glimmer to be more of a drag than I was expecting. I’m starting to think Alex Garland just doesn’t do it for me (besides Ex Machina certified banger) Someone save me from this mid movie streak 🙏

Interesting world but frustratingly bad written female characters as well as an underwhelming conclusion hold it back. Another movie that is EXTREMELY 90’s even making the forbidden McDonald’s reference 🤦‍♂️

A man’s quest to get some god damn shut eye This was pretty good, I’ve never seen Robin Williams in a role quite like this but he managed to pull it off super well This feels the most un Nolan film out of any of his filmography to me with no huge twist or time jumping but is still a worthy addition to his filmography. Plot can feel a little repetitive by the end imo
