This film is beautiful. Tender, intentional and thoughtful. Perfectly scored and a wonderful performance from Joel Edgerton. The ending gave me goosebumps. A perfect summary of life, loss, resilience and what it means to be a man who holds gentleness in high regard

This film is beautiful. Heartfelt. Tender and delightful. Jessie Buckley will surely sweep the awards season with a career defining performance. Paul Mescal is outstanding and the ending filled with bitterness and hope moved me more than I was ready for. Beautiful movie

Wow. Nia Dacosta has put together a masterpie with Alex Garlands script. Beautifully shot. Equal parts disgusting, sickening and tenderly beautiful. Ralph Fiennes showcases once again his brilliance. And Jack O'Connell shows everyone why he is booking so much work. The sound. The horror. The emotion all of it perfect to a tee. I didn't expect an improvement on the last film and I was so very wrong. What a brilliant piece of filmmaking (the second masterpiece by a female director this year. Let's start having that conversation iykyk😋)

I watched this to open my first cinema day of 2026. Expecting a lovely feel good movie about a Neil Diamond impersonator to set me up for some sadfer and more stressful watches. And those moments were there. The Pearl Jam scene had me tearing up for sure. What followed from there was one of the saddest hour+ of my life. Tears streaming by the end. Kate Hudson & Hugh Jackman are beautiful and phenomenal in this movie. This was soft and gentle and heartbreaking. I absolutely loved this movie and it falls perfectly into the category of "one watch masterpieces"
