Surf's Up
This is the single greatest film in the history of man. Cody’s willingness to prove himself as worth more than the expectations set on him by his mother and brother are very reminiscent of true dynamics in life, and yet, Cody still manages to succeed in a greater sense through his mentorship under Big Z. After losing his first bout against Tank Evans in a dramatic fashion, he is healed and guided by Big Z, leading him to regaining his confidence and becoming a better person. In the end, Cody decides to make the unselfish decision and give up his rookie title to his friend Chicken Joe, as he learns that friendship’s importance greatly surpasses that of a silly trophy. All in all, this movie is a perfect symbol for following your dreams, making good friends, and having a little more fun when we take ourselves too seriously.
